Oh look, a picture of me again for lack of a better idea.

I am a man trying to figure shit out, and I suppose if you are reading this blog, you too can live my confusing thought process, haha! I am a practicing Catholic and was raised that way but some human elements of the beuracracy and morals are not quite as appealing to me. Obviously, I am in communion with the Church but that doesn’t mean that I blindly follow every little thing anymore, though most of this is due to the people and not so much the actual rules. Things that people do and say that once I would have been like, “Ah, yes of course!” to have now become, “You know, I really don’t think that you have any right to say that.” or something to that effect. Some of the decisions the some leaders of the Church have made do not make sense to me in the whole scheme of things. “Oh, you think that you know better than the Catholic Church?” a Priest once asked me. Perhaps I do, perhaps I don’t. I do know that I think a lot and I feel a lot and I sometimes have strong reactions to some of the things I see and hear about. I do know that some things do not sit as well with me as they once did. I have studied my Religion a lot and behind the curtains of Catholicism there is much Spirituality, but I had to really dig to find it. Sometimes I admire my non-Catholic Christian brothers and sisters in their more simplistic view of things. Ironically, in my quest to be more well rounded, I ended up being more alone in my views of things. Some of my writings will probably dive into this at some point. So, there’s sort of the tone of my writings. I guess I am a more left-leaning Moderate who is Catholic, if I had to label myself, though Labels mean very little, unless they help you.
